The Military Postal Service Agency has set the following deadlines for holiday mail:
Parcel Post, Nov. 13; Space Available, Nov. 28; Parcel-Airlift Mail, Dec. 4; Priority and First-Class Letters or Cards, Dec. 11.
Those dates also should be observed when sending mail from most overseas locations to the United States as well..
FYI. Our troops need Christmas cheer this year. Cards and care packages must be addessed to a specific person. Please ask the Canteen or FoxHole Crews for names and/or tips, or Freepmail me or one of our awesome FR military members, Veterans, or military family members.
If you want on or off my Pro-Coalition ping list, please Freepmail me. Warning: it is a high volume ping list on good days. (Most days are good days).

Thanks for the post. One of the best memories I had while being deployed is recieving packages from home. Christmas was extra special.

I'd better get on the ball and get my Christmas shopping done quickly. I have less time than I thought to get the gifts over there!
Thanks for posting this info, RC.
Thanks for the heads up, y'all.
