I'm in the DC area this week on TDY and had to go south on 395 then on 95 to Fredericksburg from Crystal City. On the right side of the freeway/interstate, I thought I saw a sign that was in Memory of Freeper...I was whizzing by so did not see the name. Did a freeper pass away on 395, or was I seeing things?

I'm not aware of anything like you describe. People do place memorials on roadsides where fatal accidents have occurred, but I don't know of any involving Freepers.
