You know, I've mostly stayed out of this McClintock/Arnold sniping because I'm not a Cali voter (although my mom-in-law is). As things have turned out, these two men ran spirited campaigns, and yet didn't tear each other apart, and I suspect they'll both turn out to be winners in the long term.

That is a great observation!

I just hope that those on FR who have had their differences can shake hands and look to the future of bringing conservative ideals to California.

Everyone's a winner if the numbers stay at their current levels.
