Yes, but the account is suspect. Usually when we see an angel from God in the Old and New Testament their first reponse to man is "fear not". God's angels seek to comfort and reassure man before delivering their message.

The spirit that seized Mohammed was anything but kind. Mohammed's wife thought he was possessed by an evil spirit. I think he should have listened to her.
