20 to 30 percent of Democrats are abandoning their party. Do the math.

This is not anything long term. Republicans may move to the left to get more votes, but Democrats will move back to the center offsetting this if it looks like their political power is eroding.

May I correct this? "...but Democrats DemonRATs will move back to the center even further left while having the Leftist DemonRAT Media pretend that the move it toward the center if it looks like their political power is eroding."

Sure it is - either party, Dem or Pub, running on a platform similar to Arnie's (fiscal conservative - social liberal) will garner the majority of votes everytime in a state like Calif or NY.

Dems abondoning hard left policies are no different from conservative giving up something on hard right social issues in order to control the middle. Simple political arithmetic - that's why Arnie is getting the 20-30% Dem cross-over vote.
