To the best of my knowledge under March Fong Eu, then CA Secretary of State, exit polling data cannot be broadcast in CA until after the polls close. That doesn't mean Drudge won't do it, however.

Poll workers do not ask for photo identification. No, but they should, and fingerprints too.
It should be difficult to vote legally, and near impossible to vote illegally.

The Democrats would love a situation where Davis lost but he got equal to or more than his replacement on the ballot. At least that's the scenario they'd like. Guaranteed! The winna will have ~1/3 the votes, No on recall will have about 40-45%
To: William McKinley
Guilty as charged.

(Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

Exit polling:
RECALL: No - 57%, Yes - 43%
Bustamante - 33%
Schwarzenegger - 30%
McClintock - 17%
God help us, if this is true!
Dick Morris was predicting a Bustamante win.
I guess the McClintock voters may have achieved their desire, instead of Arnold beating Bustamante: 50% to 30%, we end up with Gov. Bustamante.

Look everyone! It's Ted Nugent!!!!
Or are you George Carlin? I always forget...

A judge ruled that you don't have to vote on q1 in order to vote on q2. A judge also ruled that abstentions on q1 count towards the 50% +1 requirement. These decisions were not appealed, to my knowledge.

I find it incredible that anyone with an IQ over 75 would skip voting on Question 1. Just incredible.

"If you post it, they will come." Sheesh. Speaking of potential problems at the polls, my ballot was dated the day after the end of March. Hey FO, if the recall loses 57-43, the result has nothing to do with McClintock voters.

Washington is leaking like a sieve, why can't I get a leak of the exit polls?

If its really NO, then Davis keeps his job. A Bustamante win won't matter. Where are these figures from?

Yipes! I realize exit polling is pretty much useless because the media usually swarms dem precints but....
If there are 20M eligible voters in KA....
If recall is with a total of 10M ballots counted on issue #1
No Recall 5.7M
Yes Recall 4.3M
(from exit poll numbers)
-and-
Say, a total of 7M votes for specific candidates in total ballots.
doesn't that sort of make the more that 50% on the recall question (that is not prominently displayed) meaningless?
That is to say if people either voted
1.) No for the recall
2.) Voted yes and picked a candidate
3.) Skipped that question and picked a candidate.
