Gretta just asked CC if there was fear that there would be more recalls across the country That's another talking point -- power to the people is suddenly out of vogue.

"Judgment" in American English; "judgement" in Britain. "Judgement" on the Reservation and in Poland. (snicker)
Seriously, you learn something new every day. I had no idea that there was an alternate spelling.

Larry Elder on MSNBC

Hahahaha! CNN gave up! They're showing taped news pieces from earlier today!

"Is Jesse ripped?"
I think you called it, Taffini...I was thinking the same thing. First he complains that (presumably) healthy, young, smart COLLEGE STUDENTS couldn't figure out how to find their polling places because one wasn't right there on campus.
Then...WHAT was that about "peoples wit no shoes" who couldn't walk to the place to protest they had no voting place in their neighborhoods?
And before he goes too far down this path of "voting irregularities", what party is the CA Secretary of State (or whomever runs elections there)???
Don't Bogart, Jesse...pass that down the line. :-)

Yes I heard that on CNN (not that I watch CNN normally but was flipping channels), that this recall is about citizen unease over post-9/11 times and the War in Iraq and the jobless recovery. BWAHAAHAA, what dog doo-doo! Maybe people want reasonable energy prices and less taxes!

McClintock still believes that if people had voted for him instead of someone else, he would have won. I am so sick of his "more people like me" but they're afraid to "vote for me" lamentations....I hope I never hear his name again.

It'd be my pleasure. Better still to lick them at the polls, in the sqyuare of public opinion, and then make them buy rounds at the saloon.

ROFL! Jesse is incoherant. ROFLMAO - Jesse is always incoherant - never forms a complete sentence, talks in riddles and sounds like he has his mouth full of snuff.

KFI: Laura Ingle: word is there's no more Twisted Sister, no more "We're Not Gonna Take It" for Arnie's acceptance. It's moved on to a Van Halen song. Guesses?

Larry's arguing with Chris & O'Donnell about all the waste in the budget...
Is it just me or is Peggy Noonan saying *nothing* so far tonight? What gives?
To: lainie
You're right. The songs were already announced on Fox.
To: Hoverbug
Jesse totally blew it. Chris Matthews killed him with the gambling question.
Bustamante takes money from guys whow ant to bring gambling into the cities to hurt the poorfolks the most. Explain that Jesse?
We wuz disenfranchised Chris.

Judy Woodruff is deflation, personified.

So Woodruff says Davis losing is Bush's fault? THe people were so mad at Bush and Iraq that they voted Davis out?
Huh?
