The armadillo was very close and didn't move, that's why the dogs didn't notice it.

It was quite beautiful up close and not scary at all. I keep hoping it will come back.

On the other hand, we have a huge alligator in the lake that abuts our back yard. I only saw it once when it was sunning itself on the opposite shore.

Hope it doesn't decide to take a sunbath in our backyard!

I'm sure you have a beautiful backyard .. but all those critters roaming around ... not sure I could handle it .. especially huge alligators
