I remember that like it was yesterday. That separation was horrible.

I remember my first day getting on a bus too. The driver didn;t have any teeth .. or very few anyway. But he was so nice. I let him drive after he pulled me back on the bus. ;-\

It wasn't the seperation, I was used to that because she was in pre-school - but I took her there.

There would have been no end to the grief had I insisted on taking her to school and not letting her get on that bus.

To her it symbolized she was a big girl going to real school.
