No worse than the seething and volcanic hatred to McClintock and his supporters. Many Arnold supporters here have been more outrageous and offensive than anything Arnold has done. Your cohorts could have garnered more support without resorting to juvenile tactics, but instead they're a major turn-off.

I agree. Nothing that Arnold has said (it's debatable what he's done), beyond "right wing crazies" has offended me and other one-tenth what his champions here have said in his name. "Attract with the star, repel with the base" seems to be their MO.

And, although I'm for McClintock, the same can also be said for the comments of some here who support him.

For me, this debate is about the candidates and their positions, and how my vote for one or the other impacts this election, and the future of the Republican Party.

It's important to note that there are plenty of Schwarzenegger supporters who've been as polite and sincere as they've been pasasionate, and I've seen no reason to begrudge them the prerogative to cast their ballot for the candidate they prefer, whatever their reasons.
