There's a
really bad joke hidden in that headline.
I ain't about to give it...
Just damn.
If you want on the new list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...
[As i mentioned, the B/C & JD! lists are going to float into and out of whack over the forseeable future, while I try to cobble a rig back together for myself. My apologies for any incovenience or misunderstandings in this time frame. New signups/removals may be flaky in this time-frame as well; please bear with me, and keep in mind you may have to FReepmail me more than once for me to get it done. Thanks again!]

France strongly denied having sold any such missiles to Iraq for nearly two decades, and said it was impossible that its newest missiles should turn up in Iraq. Ohh Pleeeeeeeease tell me we can take France to task on this..

Can anyone even feign surprise at this? Why do you think Jacques is so adamant about his no-wmd position. He's got a lot of assets to protect.

"Since July 1990, France has not authorised a single shipment of military equipment to Iraq," a French Foreign Ministry spokeswoman told Reuters. No, but a third party entity serves as a middleman ... France, of course knows this, but can state for the record ... they didn't authorize any, not one, military shipment to Iraq since 1990.

Note they don't deny doing it, they just deny doing it "officially"...
