Would you accept such an explanation if it was your sister or daughter was treated in this way?

My sister was treated in this way and the guy who did it to her later became her husband.

If it's any consolation the media is finally mentioning Juanita. Brit Hume pointed out how Arnold's groping appeared on page one whereas Xlintoon's rape accusation was mentioned on page 35 only after David Kendall denied it. Dan Abrams (MSNBC) just said he would have wished that those who outed Arnold would have shown the same courtesy to Xlintoon and plastered the Juanita accusations on the front page.

Sexual assault is not "acting irresponsibly". It's a crime.

Makes me wonder why these women didn't report this "crime" at the time that it allegedly happened. Maybe they didn't realize that they were the victim of a "crime".

Thank your for interpreting the correct intent behind my poor language.

While Arnold was at 73% a couple of hours ago, a couple of days ago is was, I believe, approaching 90%. My point is that Davis's slime is apparently having the desired effect.

LATIMES had a "team" of reporters working 7 weeks on digging up dirt on Arnold.

If the LA Times had that "team" looking 30 yrs into my past they might have found one or two wemen willing to say I groped, fondled or otherwise abused them.If I were a multi millionaire they'd find 20, if they found my X wife she'd have them convinced I'm the antichrist.

Dunno...maybe because they were concerned the situation would devolve into something similar to the Kobe Bryant case.

If there was a crime commited why didn't any of these women press charges or even report it?

Did he rape anybody? No.

And as far as simply touching a woman and making an inappropriate comment, these things happen all the time in bars etc. and we don't know all the circumstances.
One of the accusers I saw on TV sounded like she really enjoyed his attention but because it was inappropriate seemed to feel obligated to claim she was offended.

I think this is all a tempest in a tea pot.

Thanks for the info. Since I don't watch much TV and don't have cable, who is Abrams? Is he on our side or the dark side usually?

Dan Abrams followed in the footsteps of his famous father (both are attorneys)and I always felt he was on the dark side but cannot cite why. However, listening to his outrage last night, I now have second thoughts.

Are you familiar with Neal Cavuto of foxnews? I happend to catch a replay of his earlier show last night in which he said he found it strange that such a commotion was being made over Arnold's groping yet not a peep about Juanita's rape allegations (paraphrasing). In two days I've heard her name mentioned by four TV personalities questioning where the media's outrage was back then.

I know of Cavuto. It is amazing that groping (which indeed is terrible behavior) gets more play than a vicious biting rape by an attorney general who later took over the White House.
