I just blew away the PT test

AF PT Test, right? A mile and a half on a bike in 30 minutes? So, how hard can that be?

Ok, joking aside...good for you! APFT was one of the things I struggled with my entire career. I was one heckuva Intel NCO, and the men and women I led were the best taken care of crew there was...I just wasn't all that hot on push-ups! Oh well...we survived!

There are new standards that will take effect next year. It consists of a 1 1/2 mile run to be extended to 2 miles. Push ups and sits ups. It is a lot tougher standard then the run years ago or the bike (which I hated.) To paraphrase the old Buick commercial "It's not your Daddy's Air Force any more"

I'am currently an Intel SNCO. If you have the right crew it makes the job fun. Now my concern is to get them into shape. I don't think they liked to get beaten by an old sarge.
