Defenders say it is sometimes the safest way to protect the health and future fertility of the mother when an abortion is found to be necessary during the second and third trimester of a pregnancy.

I'm speechless.

The drive to stop what opponents call partial birth abortion

This is as good a time as any to ask. Has anyone ever seen any news stories that say:

The drive to stop what opponents call assault weapons...

The drive to stop what opponents call junk guns...

The drive to stop what opponents call corporate greed...

The drive to stop what opponents call hate crimes...

The drive to stop what opponents call homophobia...

The drive to stop what opponents call global warming...

The drive to stop what opponents call tax cuts for the rich...

Just wondering.

From the article: There's disagreement about how often such abortions are performed. Are we to assume then that 15,000 killed in this way is more egregious than 10,000 killed in this way each year? Sheesh! Defenders say it is sometimes the safest way to protect the health and future fertility of the mother when an abortion is found to be necessary during the second and third trimester of a pregnancy. The defenders of the indefensible have used many lies to support their bloodletting rites. Since it takes up to three days to perform this kill method, are we really expected to believe that such a heinous way to slaughter unborn alive children is to be protected as necessary for women's health? No, we are expected to ignore the lies and dissembling, expected to ignore the FACT that those defending this heinous slaughter do so because they believe--really believe--a woamn should have the right to hire a killing to insure a dead baby and avoid future responsibilities to a child. And these ghouls want this to remain legal as a woman's rite to choose, not a man's right. Why, when these lying ghouls are in favor of this killing as a woman's means to avoid the inconvenience of a child, in favor of the expedience of killing those whom they know will require responsible care in the near future ... and if a father of an unborn child were to use those reasons to demand that the woman with his alive child inside her body be allowed to terminate that child to avoid responsibility for later care, he would be ridiculed as a ghoul! Lies are the foundation of liberal societal engineering. When will Americans catch on?
