I just got back from the rally in San Diego.
I heard Arnold in person ...
He said A lot of the accusations aren't true, but that he
behaved very badly, etc...
I had tears in my eyes...the crowd quieted,
it meant a lot to everyone and especially Arnold.
The biggest surprise for me was hearing Darrell Issa...
he had the crowd in stitches by saying
We're all aware there's a candidate in this recall who will
not quit, despite the insistence of his own party. He just will not back down.
Of course I'm talking about Cruz Bustamante!
Issa also said there's not enough gratitude in politics,
and urged a moment of silence to express our gratitude...
for Gray Davis, without whom we couldn't have this opportunity! Everyone roared.
It felt like a historical moment, being there this morning.
There seemed to be a big smile on everyone's face
while filing out afterwards.

Good. We may suffer some damage, but let's rally round the flag to take Sacramento!
For Arnold! For Bush! For California! For America!

Except for the fathers of those daughters that had Arnolds hands up their shirts. No Problem for some. I guess if someone throws out life long convictions and supports a Liberal there is not too much that can upset them. Sexual harrassment is only for Democrats, I guess. Then Arnold was just a child, 35?

You ought to write a fuller account, not use < br > so much, and post that as a freestanding essay. Give the details the Times etc. leave out.

Did you hear anyone talking about changing their vote because of this?
