This is an interesting little twist here that okie01 has offered up:
I'm also wondering if Doug Thompson's "former intelligence officer Terrance J. Wilkerson" might have been a reporter's myth for "former diplomat Joseph C. Wilson". (Hmmm. Having just typed them, one sees how one sitting at a keyboard could morph one name into the other). At any rate, I believe the "leak" to Thompson at Capitol Hill Blue -- which elevated Wilson's report to the highest level of gospel truth and geopolitical significance -- ought to be considered part of this same fabric of deception.

Interesting twist indeed. This whole thing reeks and smells of RAT tactics.
