And I hear it brought up at least once every single day on any number of ESPN radio broadcasts by other commentators. It's a big issue in sports right now. If -- and I suspect there's no chance you have -- but if you want to defend your statement as having any meaning, you'd better be able to demonstrate that his discussion of the topic is an anomaly and no other commentators are discussing it. Otherwise your point is meaningless, illogical, and comes close to the "racist baiting" that those on the left always want to hang on anyone causcasian that dares to notice that race is ever a legitimate topic of discussion.

So, if Rush said word for word exactly what Jimmy the Greek said, then you would still be happy with him? Since race is brought up ALL the time on ESPN, then that would be OK? Right?

You would have to be slightly to the right of David Duke to say that Jimmy The GReeks comments were just fine. So I'm going to ass-u-me that you would not agree. In this case, Rush said that the Eagles defense carried the team(his opinion, nothing wrong so far), he said that he didn't think McNabb was that good to begin with(his opinion, arguable, but still fine). But then we get to his inference that McNabb is given credit simply because he is black(DING DING DING DING, we have a winner). Say what you want, but Rush didn't have to go that extra step and bring in the race baiting.

You're outing yourself. No thinking person would ever compare the opinion Rush gave with David Duke and Jimmy the Greek the racist comments you have alluded to. Your slimy agenda is showing, big time.

Note: Every time someone mentions "race" doesn't mean that the comment or the speaker is racist. Surely you are smart enough to know the connections Rush has to the black conservative community and to be aware of the contributions Rush has made to provide them platforms, air time, and access to his millions of listeners... or, then again, maybe you aren't.

You still on this thread? ;)

You would think all the misconceptions you spread yesterday were enough...

Why don't you just admit that despite all the evidence to the contrary you really want to believe and convince others that Rush is a racist.

Well you are wrong, he is not. But your insistence makes me wonder about your motives.

P.S. just to lay it out for everyone else who doesn't want to sift through 500 pages:

***
Here you are stringing together false paraphrased statements which are in fact out of context and you continue to use in your argument:

"You, of course, will cliam he did not say that. I can use my brain and get 2 from 1 plus 1. He said 'The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well' and then follows that up with(damn I can't find it right now, but I'll paraphrase) - And I never thought he was that good to begin with." -- SengirV

***
Here you are accusing me of taking an ACTUAL block quote out of context in order to support my argument:

"you quote about 1/100 of what he said in the entire segment. And of course only that which supports your arguement. I heard rush say that he didn't think McNabb was that good to begin with. So Rush is in fact saying that, in his mind, McNabb is popular because he is black. I can infer that from EVERYTHING he said, not just the 1/100 that you quote." -- SengirV

Here you are admitting you can find no evidence to support your paraphrasing, yet you continue to assure us they are true:

"I'm looking, but I can only find that one quote. I've googled, I've used every search engine I can think of. As far as the internet(and you), the only thing Rush said was "I think what we've had here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well,'' Limbaugh said. "There is a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a lot of credit for the performance of this team that he didn't deserve. The defense carried this team." But he said A LOT more than that, but the STUPID media only feels like quoting that one piece. I guess they just have visions of black QBs dancing in their heads." --- SengirV

***

Here you are giving up your search and proving that you are really just trying to get a rise out of people with your insistence that Rush is a racist.

"It's getting late. I'll look again tomorrow/look at rush's web site. But I will try to state my arguement as simply as possible. And I'll paraphrases, just to piss you off =)" -- SengirV
