Either (a) he's not as smart as you think, (b) he wasn't living his dream or, (c) he decided to end the dream.

Knowing the way he gushes about football, I think we can eliminate "B" without question. Sounds like you opted for "C" but, I can't eliminate "A".

Maybe he didn't realize that he shouldn't leave half his brain tied behind his back when he comes out from behind the golden EIB microphone.

I think it's D He wanted to make a point about the racial PC level that exists in the media. It will not hurt and only help him in his real job, which is the EIB. Meanwhile a white democrat can say nigger on TV if he wants and no one bats an eye.
