Sorry to get snippy. I just took issue with your broad generalization that we 'all' knew Rush was over the line. I'm sure you meant something like 'I think if you saw things as I do you'd agree Rush was over the line'. I'm just very upset about this. I don't get angry easily on the forum. I've written long replies at times being frank and in-your-face, then decided not to send them. You're actually one of the more rational posters with whom I disagree, so sorry if you bore my ire in that post. Conservatives really need to stick together on this issue, even if we disagree on whether Rush was over the line. Very few of us seem to believe he is a racist, for which I am very happy.

Actually, it is the broad generalizations that offend most... I apologize for that... This is the mistake he made... Doesn't make him a racist and doesn't make me one either...

As I said in another post, he has created an environment where maybe this could be discussed.... I would love to see him and those with a different view get on any sports network and discuss this issue...Gloves on or off...

By the way, even if Rush Limbaugh were a racist, he has done nothing to me... And if we get past the race issue where there are so many other problems to deal with, he has a view that I tend to accept and aspire to...
