It's getting late. I'll look again tomorrow/look at rush's web site.

But I will try to state my arguement as simply as possible. And I'll paraphrases, just to piss you off =)

Rush said that the media is pulling for black QBs to do well. He then said that the McNabb got too much credit for the wins when it was really the defense that won their games for them. Then he said that he didn't think McNabb was that good of a QB to begin with. So I take the sum of the statements and read - I think McNabb got a lot of credit because he is black. You apparently think that is fine. I do not like that statement.

I have stated in many posts on this thread the myriad reasons why I think that is an ignorant statement. I say ignorant, because Rush doesn't even qualify for the label of stupid when it comes to McNabb, Reid's horrible play calling in the NFCC game against the bucs and the two losses this year, and Reid's horrible moves as GM.

In four weeks on the program Rush has brought up the race issue two times. If anyone has a problem with race, apparently it is Rush.

Good night. I'm outta here, and hopefully will never return to this thread.

I agree, and am hopeful you won't return. Your thoughts are not very well organized. You yourself said the black coaches hiring story was fair game and then used it to say "Rush has a problem with race".

Have fun volunteering for the Hillary for President campaign...some great spin.

And I hear it brought up at least once every single day on any number of ESPN radio broadcasts by other commentators. It's a big issue in sports right now. If -- and I suspect there's no chance you have -- but if you want to defend your statement as having any meaning, you'd better be able to demonstrate that his discussion of the topic is an anomaly and no other commentators are discussing it. Otherwise your point is meaningless, illogical, and comes close to the "racist baiting" that those on the left always want to hang on anyone causcasian that dares to notice that race is ever a legitimate topic of discussion.
