You didn't direct that "appointment" question to me. As your own post above indicates at the top, you and I were discussing whether Arnold is (or isn't) a touch to Riordan's right, because (I said) Arnold at least hasn't endorsed Democrats running against Republicans in contested general elections.

Your post about appointments was to another FReeper. But I will say that W and Nixon both had (have) a few Democrats on board, partly to "hear all views" and partly just for tokenism (i.e., they're in minor or "hood ornament" roles). So are they traitors too?
