I'll try typing slowly so you can understand what I'm saying....Prior to the CNN poll out this past Sunday, which shows Arnold pulling away from the pack, the race was close between Arnold and Busty -- 28%-25%, and some polls showing Busty with a three or four point lead. When those polls came out, it was clear that Tom was in the position of spoiler, and it looked like he would end up inadvertantly giving the election to Busty. But Arnold has appeared to have broken from the pack, now leading Busty by 15%. That break out started last week with the Chamber of Commerce poll, and was confirmed by the CNN/Gallup poll released just three days ago. So, my earlier comment that up until the CNN/Gallup poll, McC was a likely spoiler, was true, not assertion.

So, I don't really care how much the McClintock fans fantasize about the position of their man -- he's going to lose, and ironically, won't be much of a factor in the final vote.

Like I said, that was your assertion. But many of us saw it differently--believing that Bustamante was dead meat from the beginning. Why would the people rise up and throw off the oppressor only to elect the court jester?

And feel free to type as fast or as slow as you want...
