She was defending MURDERERS! She wasn't demonstrating on campus in San Francisco or at Evergreen. She was trying to stop Israeli soldiers from closing tunnels that were being used to smuggle weapons into Gaza to kill innocent Israelis.
Her death, and the deaths of a few other ISM people raised a cloud over that movement, and probably gave a lot of wannabe US martyrs pause before going to Israel to interfere with their self-defense.
I'm glad she got exactly what she deserved.

Oh *come on*.
Disagree with the girl's political views all you wish, but to joke about her death and say "she deserved it" is just sick. She was naive and misled in her thinking, I don't disagree there.
But your attitude is no different from the terrorists, really: Kill those who don't share your views and/or rejoice when they die. That is just perverse.
I mean, how is making fun of this dead girl any different from the Iraqis who giggled, laughed and cheered when they were shown standing alongside dead coalition troops during Gulf War 2?
