Let's face it, Tom's a racist, homophobic, starve the children and old people, reduce education spending, pollute the environment kind of guy. Tom wouldn't last a week under the full Demorat machine.

Such leg piddling! I don't know if you are truely a defeated Conservative, or someone who agrees with the Demos at least enough to not stand up and fight the press. Too close to call. Do you remember before Talk Radio the hate in the press for the 83-84 Reagan campaign? I do. They had the perfect storm with the woman VP, etc. They got one of the biggest defeats in US history by an unapologetic Conservative. Impossible.

Can you say "Governor Schwarzenegger"? I thought you could. Get used to it!

You bet. But I think you are going to rule the day you pushed for that. Call it a hunch.

Your party, the Republican Party is going to win the governorship of California! It's a good thing!

In 1990 it was only $3 billion debt when "it was a good thing" that a Republican In Name Only won the Governorship. That guy's passion to destroy the Conservative grass roots, as well as failure in all aspects of office, singlehandedly caused the chainreaction to cost the GOP every major position in the state. What do you think will happen this time?

I don't share your pessimism. I look for better days ahead, for California, the Republican Party, both at the state and national level, and for conservatism.
