Do you remember before Talk Radio the hate in the press for the 83-84 Reagan campaign? I do. They had the perfect storm with the woman VP, etc. They got one of the biggest defeats in US history by an unapologetic Conservative. Impossible.

In 1990 it was only $3 billion debt when "it was a good thing" that a Republican In Name Only won the Governorship. That guy's passion to destroy the Conservative grass roots, as well as failure in all aspects of office, singlehandedly caused the chainreaction to cost the GOP every major position in the state.
