Hannity asked Schwarzenegger what he thought of the "assault-weapon" ban and the Brady Bill. Schwarzenegger replied, "Yes I do support that. And also I would like to close the loophole on the gun shows." And Hannity swooned in adoration.

None of this matters. Arnold is a Republican, and he can win, so we shouldn't be "one-issue" voters.

Likely coming down the pike next year is a punitive tax on ammunition and reloading components and a ban on .50 cal firearms. Will Arnie sign these? Unlike McClintock, Arnold has no deeply held convictions in this area, so it'll likely depend on what his advisors think is most politically expedient.

Hannity argued last week that it was important to get behind Arnold because Conservatives would get 70% of what they stood for.
How long before we are settling for 55% ? 35% ? Extra rations from the guards?
On many issues, Arnold seems to be an empty suit.

A vote for McClintock is a win-win deal. First, if he wins, the everyone wins. If he doesn't win this time, and Bustamonte wins, then CA will get McClintock or someone like him next general election. This election isn't the end of the world. Don't settle for liberals in RINO clothing. A known political enemy in office is better than a stealth enemy masquerading ad a friend.

Arnold's glaring ignorance of California gun laws is just one example of the inept governator we are going to get.Davis and Arnold. Dumb and dumber.

I consider myself a single issue voter. I vote for the pro RKBA candidate over the non RKBA candidate.
I would love to vote for Tom, but I don't feel he has the votes to win.
I'm voting Ah-nold, hoping that he can be educated. Cruz and Davis can't be educated.

Schwarzenegger does claim to support the Second Amendment, but do Charles Schumer and Rudolph Guiliani, both of whom find their support of the Second Amendment compatible with their support of every antigun law which has any political viability. So do all politicians, including Peter Camejo, Arianna Huffington, Lieutenant Governor Cruz Bustamante, and Governor Gray Davis.

Arnold doesn't understand the AWB or gun show loophole any more than Bush does.
They are only supporting it because that's what they are being told to do, and because as elites, they are instinctively opposed to us peasants having arms.
Note that Arnold supports every major gun control initiative being pushed by the gun grabbers. He supports the AWB ban, banning private sales, and banning 50 caliber rifles.
Likewise, if the anti-gun Nazis were pushing for legislation calling for all guns to be painted pink, and all magazines stamped with a picture of Bozo the clown, he's support that also.
And when the gun-grabbers call for registration, confiscation, and life sentences for those who refuse, you can be that good old Fritz will support that too.
