It will be found that a compound of tomatoes, molasses and vinegar, or wood smoke, or chilies, will neutralize the effect.
MMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!
Beef ribs and brisket!
Wow - who pulled the steak out?
Interesting, yet as a kid, it was hen's eggs and wheat; and later, cow's milk, that gave me trouble with hives & allergies. I "out grew" the first two while in grammar school; had problems with the milk in junior high, then out grew that, too.
About 1994-5 I developed an allergy to shrimp, but by taking a Benadryl first, then eating 'low doses' of shrimp, I can now eat 5 or 6 without taking a tablet first, and not have any symptoms.
OTOH, I have NEVER suffered any kind of allergic/inflamatory reactiopn to beef, pork, or lamb.
I have always had a gagging problem with mutton, though. ;-)
1Ti 4:3 Forbidding to marry, [and commanding] to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
1Ti 4:4 For every creature of God [is] good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
1Ti 4:5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
True, if one has an allergic response to something they are aware of it in one way or another. I have heard many people speak about what causes them allergic problems and do not remember anyone saying they sneezed, swelled up, had hives etc. because of red meat. Also allergies often become worse so that people cannot tolerate eating or touching or even breathing in that what they are allergic to. They certainly don't have to forbid red meat on places like planes or give warnings that a product contains red meat like they do with peanuts. The whole thing strikes me that a bunch of leftist are trying to push their wierdo destructive agenda.
I think the one you are looking for is "Scurvy". IIRC, I think Rickets is Vit. D defeciency related.
This article does not provide enough information for my understanding. However, saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium is enough to cause me to avoid red meat.
Thanks for posting this. I bought a nice little New York Strip on Friday, and promptly forgot it was in the meat keeper in the fridge.
Now I’m thinking about having it for breakfast in a few hours.
Thanks.
To a significant degree, how a person’s body reacts to a particular food is determined by his/her blood type:
