If you watch the Capitol Gang there is no way you would call Novak a Democrat. He is very big on tax cuts, probably bigger than Rush. He hates big governement. He spent 8 years blasting Clinton. He may not care for the Bush White House, but I believe most of those issues are based on his belief of the Mid East stance, and the expansion of government under Bush.

You may be right, but I've seen too many times where he just bashed the Bush position for no reason, and usually his prophecies don't pan out. Yes, he was right nearly 10 years ago about the GOP takeover, but he has been quite weak as a newsman since then. I think his position on Israel gets in the way of his reporting.
