it's called Science FICTION for a reason. Good science fiction either posits a possible future world, or gives you a premise that makes sense on some level. Human children in charge of our military strategy in a war against aliens makes no sense. I enjoy science fiction, too, mostly movies, I don't read sci fi books that often, but I didn't buy into this book. Sorry.
