Please explain how do we win if Bustamante wins.

If Arnold loses, that does mean that Bustamante wins.

If Schwartenegger wins, we'll be facing some issues we don't like one bit, but we'll be far better off with him that Busty.

I wholeheartedly disagree.

Schwarzenegger is much worse.

Wow! This is great! At this rate, Tom will pass Arnold in the poll by....Easter!

Yup and at the rate Bush's approval is dropping he'll be at -30% around then. Just trust the math wizards here.

very interesting to compare this poll with CofC's last poll:

Arnold went from 28% to 35% - up 7%
Busty went from 33% to 31% - down 2%
Tom Mc went from 12% to 17% - up 5%

Republicans gain 12%, Busty slips 2%, net gain for Rs = 14%.
Not too shabby.

Trend - Arnold is Governor S.

=====

NOW the truth comes out. With all your talk about McClintock, you really want Bustamante to win.

We win because Schwarzenegger did not win.

If Arnold loses, that does mean that Bustamante wins.

Maybe. It would mean either McClintock wins (best case scenario) or Bustamante won.

I Put it this way concerning the four scenarios:

Best: Davis Recalled, McClintock Governor
Next: Davis Recalled, Bustamante Governor
Next: Davis Recalled, Schwarzenegger Governor
Worst: Davis Not Recalled

McCLINTOCK VOTERS
If you knew support for Tom McClintock was limited and he did not seem to have enough votes to win the election, would you want to see him withdraw from the race so his votes could go to your second choice candidate or another candidate you find acceptable and who could win?

Early poll to latest

McClintock
Yes: 67 to 54%
No: 23 to 34%
Unsure: 9 to 12%

It's amazing that Arianna has gotten as much attention as she has. There really is no reason for it - she has been stuck in the low single digits at every stage.

The media definietly promotes bomb-throwers like her, when she is tossing bombs at us, that is!

You wrote that Schwarzenegger is much worse than Busty.

That needs mucho explaining.

Can you honestly say that CALIFORNIA would be better off with Busty as governor than with Arnold? not conservatives, not republicans, not your or me, but would CALIFORNIA be better off?

If so, you need to explain.

You just stated it again: you prefer Bustamante as governor to Arnold.

I guess you really want to have California completely destroyed.

It's amazing that Arianna has gotten as much attention as she has.

She's blaming the whole California mess on Bush. She can write her own ticket on press coverage.

In a three way race if 50% of Schwarzenegger's voters are conservatives and they decide to vote for a conservative instead od Schwarzenegger, McClintock beats both Bustamante and Scwarzenegger.

The math is there.
>

That is not math. That is presumption. 1/2 of Arnold's support will not vote for McClintock because he is too extreme for California -- And You Know It. McClintock's support need not vote *for* Arnold. Then need only vote *against* the opposition by punching the chad for Arnold. Those with extreme positions never get to vote *for* a winner. The best they can do is deny the opposition a victory. That's The Way It Is.

It has reached a level of probability that this is no longer principle. This is an exercise in either sabotage or self indulgence. Neither are noble.

You are delusional. Enjoy Governor Bustamante.

Republicans have played defense too long. Every move is dpredicated based on what they think the Dems will say or how the liberals and media will spin it.

This election is a perfect example of it.

I for one am not scared of Bustamante. We are about to succesfully recall the Dem Governor -- a fist in history.

And we are supposed to then be scared of the muddling panderer Bustamante.

"Schwarzenegger is much worse."

You HAVE to be NUTS!!!!!!!

Worse than a guy who won't disavow "For those in the race, everything, for those out of the race, nothing"?!?!?!

Worse than a guy who JUST finished up his college degree, over the internet?!?!?!

Worse than a guy who's idea of tax relief is extended only to those who's car is worth less that $20K?!?!? But not to those who want a drink?!?!?!

Worse than someone who'd rubber stamp everything, and I mean EVERYTHING our "to-the-left-of-Lenin" legislator puts on his desk?

Break out the smelling salts, my friend - Arnold has his problems - but he's light years better than the Racist Rat Bustemonte!

How many of the replacement undecideds are yes on recall?

It would seem that Busty needs almost all the undecideds, even assuming no Tom voters flip.
