Reading this thread, evidently Vernon is a big threat to somebody in that district. Why else would somebody join FR and post ONLY smears against him?

Do you know what is going on here? Probably friends, volunteers, or campaign workers causing trouble. I've seen it happen several times either in defense of in opposition to a candidate in letters to the editor, and this is no different than massive letters to the editor.
