McClintock is the only candidate who has emphatically come out for the 2nd Amendment and gun rights.

I ONLY vote for strong 2nd Amendment supporters.

If Tom bails then there is no reason for me to vote because I will not vote for anyone other than a strong 2nd Amendment supporting Conservative.

For all of you who complain that by my not voting for any electable Republican (RINO)I am,in effect, throwing my vote away, consider this.

I vote my principles, come hell or high water, because they are my principles and are important to me. If it is so important to you that a Republican win this recall, then why don't you give on your principles and vote for Tom?

eh????

Add conservative-patriot-pro 2nd Ammend. faction control of any Cal. state agency (with senior gubernatorial appointments) that deals on the California state level with gun control, then. if that is your sole issue.

Don't you mean your "principle," singular?

Some encouragement: no, you're not throwing your vote away by voting for the candidate of your choice. I have "thrown my vote away" many times in the past 35 years by simply doing what you are not--choosing the most "conservative" candidate who has a chance to win. THAT is throwing away a vote. Never again. Stay with your principles.

I'm a strong 2nd Ammendment proponent as well, except it is 2nd on my list of issues. No new taxes is #1. Lets not cut off our noses just to spite our face whether the 2nd Ammendment is 1st or 2nd you your list.

It is totally irrelevant if 100% of the GOP vote goes to Schwarzenegger or if 100% of the GOP vote goes to McClintock unless they also get a significant percentage of non-GOP vote. Without that non-GOP vote, both of the GOP candidates would lose in today's California.

Schwarzenegger has the ability to woo that non-GOP vote. McClintock does not. Therefore, the political facts of life are that Schwarzenegger has a good chance of winning and McClintock has zero chance.

The question you should be asking yourself is, "Who can do the most damage to those principles that I hold dear? Schwarzenegger or Bustamante?"

If the answer Schwarzenegger, then your present position makes sence.

If the answer is Bustamante, you might want to re-think the consequences of your position.
