Every industry is being exported at an alarming rate. Textiles, IT, Semiconductors, Steel, Chemical, etc. Freaking Gilroy - the Garlic Capital of the World - is importing Chinese garlic!

At this rate it won't be long before we hear the silence of the millstones.

Having driving off most industry, California is now planning on putting air polution controls on agriculture. Great. Farm without plowing, chemicals, or burning.

Babylon may actually be Iraq. The old city has been rebuilt, and the nations seem about ready to converge upon it to help Iraq be rebuilt as a country. Could be it could become a center of commerce (or at least a free-flowing center of oil for all the world). I'm inclined to believe something has happened with America that makes her not such a major figure. Of course, that could be a rapture (with the number of Christians around, such an event would certainly cripple the economy and our ability to respond). Or maybe America is Babylon of Revelation 18. Don't know. She doesn't have to be though.

I don't know either. I recall, but haven't been able to relocate, a reference to something like lands not yet known joining the final fray.

In any event, the Bible was written from (or for) a middle eastern bronze to iron age audience. Trying to explain the New World, XIXth century weapons, radio, etc. would have really clouded the message...

I wonder if this could explain why there is no mention of the Eagle in the Bible (Revelations)?

You know, that is the scary part. With the dome under the lake rising in Yellowstone, and Bible prophecy seemingly coming true under our very noses, one wonders if this will be why the United States will no longer be the prime economic power in the world, during the 'final times'.

P.S. Here is something to scare the daylights out of you.

Yellowstone caldera, big deal. Asteroids, big deal.

China and N. Korea have been working on getting rockets that can carry small payloads into outer space ready.

Know why?

It's because those small payloads are their new GPS system.

America's overpowering military is possible due to the technology, and is also totally dependent on that technology.

If you want to beat AMERICA, then you must put up your own GPS system, and then disable the AMERICAN SYSTEM.

Other nations (besides China and N. Korea) are helping,investing, and watching this feat being accomplished.

AND....... we are asleep at the wheel.
