Stryker Brigade Combat Team Bump
Concealed HMG and RPG-armed teams can take out the Bradley AND the Stryker. One left-behind and well dug-in 23MM might take out a dozen of these vehicles before it was silenced. It has a high rate of fire, it's cheap, it's very accurate, and one round might be enough to disable(at the very least) both the Bradley and the Stryker at 2000M, especially from behind. Of that, there seems little doubt.
Isn't it possible that the speed-of-advance concept needs a reality check with the hard facts of a real-world battlefield? It looks to me that we are just leaving too many bad guys behind, around us, and alive.
IMHO, it often looks to me like we are trying to do too much with too few men. I literally weep with frustration everytime I read of our boys getting killed by primitive means, while surrounded by high-tech equipment, which is useless in a guts-vs-tech street fight or an ambush.
