The Muslims were excavating like hell, throwing everything out that might prove Jewish claims to have been there in earlier times. The Israelis were warning about the bulge in the Wall area, afraid that if the Muslims didn't do something it might even collapse on visitors. The Jordanians offered to come in and help, which was greated with loud cheers by the Israelis, to stop the nonsense.
If that ugly mess called Al Aqsa collapses, it will be due to all those idiot Muslims digging underground without any regard to basic engineering. And it's true that it will then be screamed from the Arab rooftops that the Israelis did it.
Isn't it around the corner, on the south side of that same mosque that the bulge has been a problem for a few years? Weren't the Jordanians going to fix that? That is what I thought had collapsed. I was suprised to see it was on the western side of the mosque.
