Except
The Islamic al-Awqaf department in Jerusalem have accused the Israeli authorities of being behind the collapse of an internal wall in al-Aqsa mosque yesterday after it had prevented its engineers form maintaining it.
The collapsed wall is situated near the Islamic museum on a hill in old Jerusalem where the mosque is situated. This wall is considered new in comparison to other parts of the mosque.
The director of the Islamic Awqaf in Jerusalem Adnan al-Husseini said that the wall collapsed as a result of "the Israeli intervention in our work and preventing us from maintaining it after we stated it was in an urgent need for a rapid action to prevent its collapse."

The French surrendered immediately after Hillary!! announced that the whole mess was GW's fault. And the ACLU is on the way to sue the entire non-Muslim population of Jerusalem....

American in Israel,
Thank you for that great information. I have been waiting for the rains to start, thinking they will likely be as good, if not better than last year after Israel finally started taking control of some land. And now that they are back on the Mount too, I would expect some good rains. Even better when they will cause damage to the nasty things up on the mount. Don't the early rains start soon after the High Holy days?

Thank you very much for the info. Helps alot.
Is the view from the 2nd photo "SW retaining wall of TM" with the Mosque dome above - is that view looking eastward and shot from the lower left corner of the Temple Mount as shown in the 'layout' diagram?
Is the 2nd photo shot from the upper left corner of the 1st photo (kinda under the letters 'Al') looking along the wall down and towards the right where the white arrow head is?
Is the 1st photo shot from the lower right corner of the 'layout' diagram (actually from some distance off the diagram) and looking diagonally across the Temple Mount towards the upper left corner of the 'layout' diagram?

Out of 700 UN resolutions, 450 of them were against Israel? Unbelievable, with all the despotic regimes and terrorist states out there in the world. Why exactly do we continue to support the UN anyway? And yet the "palaeoconservatives" continue to scream for our withdrawal from the "Zionist" UN. Then of course they turn right around and endorse every anti-Israel UN resolution and demand that it be enforced. Does this mean that the "palaeos" want the "Zionist" UN to be even more powerful, or only when it comes to anti-Israel resolutions?
BTW, the "palaeos" used to hate Kurt Waldheim (the Birch Society even blew his cover as an old Nazi before any "philo-Semitic" liberal ever did), but ever since his past has become known they can't defend him enough.
These same "palaeos," btw, blew their top when the Belgians wanted to try Pinochet but turned right around and seconded the motion when the same people wanted to try Sharon.

And the Jews have not been allowed up there for two years. Pretty hard to blame it all on the Jews now... Don't make the mistake of assuming that arafat's boys and girls need logical propaganda. They never have before.

This mess the Pali's find themselves in is just too sweet to believe.

There are three structures sitting atop the mount. One is the gold dome that is a shrine, the other is a silver dome that is the mosque, and I'm not sure what the other is a museum I think. It is the mosque that is in danger for now, actually the entire top of the mount may be in danger of collapsing because the little termites have been so busy tunneling underneath to hide the truth about the site.
It's just too perfect, Buwahahahahaaa

When I visited the temple mount and the Dome and Al Aqsa in 1996 the place looked pretty pristine to me. Now granted I probably only had the tourist tour and we didn't go poking about the whole place so maybe it has always been messy in the surrounding area. We were also somewhat rushed in our visit since the temple mount was about to be placed under closure and to get a visit in we made a quick dash from our entry into Israel from the Allenby crossing at the river Jordan. As we completed the climb in our tour bus and saw Jerusalem for the first time coming over the crest was a breathtaking and unforgetable moment.

My wife was just up on the mount and said the over all impression she got was neglect and decay.

Interesting. Either we took away different impressions or things have changed since I was there.
