Dave Mustane... get your band back together and put the Megadeth on these bleeding heart turd bands!
I agree. Where has all the talent gone? The talentless are worshipped now.
Bands that suck like Sonic Youth have to pander to the far left for fans.

"only metal remains (we leave our politics at the door...we just want fast hard loud music)"
Only metal remains.
I like that.

Well. I know I've been lying awake nights wondering, "What do The Donnas think I should do?" Can we get a comment from The Captain & Tennille?

Metal FReeper Ping!
If you want on or off this list let me know.
Not that any of these bands are metal.
Tom Morello is such an awesome gut-fiddle player, it's too bad he's an idiot.

Ah, nothing like a Republican President to bring out the punks.
This is nothing new. The '80s were totally like this. If you didn't think Reagan=Hitler you couldn't truly be punk.
The problem with Clinton was that since he had (D) after his name, the punks had no Focus Of Evil In The World to get all angry about. The result was milquetoast pseudo "punks" like Blink 182.
Notice that a lot of these bands were around back then, but for some mysterious reason their Righteous Outrage was strangely muted.
The Donnas? They never sang about anything other than smoking pot and doin' donuts on the neighbor's lawn. I'm actually kinda surprised they're doing this.
Green Day? Songs about masturbation, girls, insanity, ghetto postures.
NOFX? Who could ever tell what their songs were about? They are all sound.
As for Tom Morello/Rage Against The Machine, sure they were obviously "angry", but at what? What's their biggest song: "Killing in the name of! UUUHHH!" What the hell does that even mean? What the hell were they even angry about? I could never tell. I gathered that they liked Che Guevera, I seem to recall (could be wrong) that maybe they were still ticked about that whole "Contras vs. Sandinistas" thing, but that's just it, they had to reach back to the Evil Reagan Years to vent their Righteous Anger.
When a (D) is President, punks don't know how to get properly angry. This now just means everything falling back into its natural order: the President is (R) so it's ok to do political punk again.
