They should kick the damn Muslims from the Site of Solomon's Temple. They have as much right being there as a boatload of Maoris from New Zealand.
Historians say that when the Muslims captured Jerusalem from the Byzantines they found a pile of debris, which they cleared to build their Temples. No credible sources (that I've seen anyway) dispute this. After 1,300 years I'd say they've established a right to be there.

The reason they found a pile of rubble was probably because the Byzantines, dominating the area, were not Jewish, nor were Jews a controlling presence there between the time of Titus' destruction of the Temple until now. Besides, the only "historians" present at the event were Islamic fanatics - hardly impartial observers.

Islam is not a religion in the sense that term is recognized by the rest of the world. If the number of Muslims in the world were only a few hundred, they would be regarded the same way the British viewed the Thugee cult in India. Their numbers have given them legitimacy.

But their religion has created a wasteland in every nation it prevails in, and created civil war and violence wherever it is a large minority. Even among its own sectarians - the Wahhabis, Sunni, Shiites, etc. continual violence, internecine slaughter, etc. prevails.

The Jews BUILT the Temple of Solomon, not the Byzantines or the Muslims. By right of pre-eminance it belongs to them and their descendants - the modern Israelis. I don't think ANYBODY can seriously believe that that desert brigand Mohammad ascended to heaven on a flying horse from there or anywhere else. Its more likely he wound up in the "other place."
