You realize the faulty logic in that statement, don't you? The US also has chemical weapon suits, does that mean the US is planning to use chemical weapons?!

Having chemical weapon suits simply means that you expect chemical weapons might be used against you. Given that Iraq used chem weapons against Iran, it was reasonable to expect that Iran might do the same back to them if war broke out again.

Yes, that is possible. It's also possible that every other bit of incriminating evidence has a perfectly innocent explanation.

The lack of cooperation from the Saddam regime would be puzzling if that were the case. Perhaps you can explain why Iraq wished to keep economic sanctions in place against them when they were entirely innocent.
