You see, I've been hearing about how enlightened Canada was regarding pot, how the judges negated the law, the police weren't enforcing it, people were smoking in front of the police station....
So, you can smoke it, you just can't buy it. Or sell it. Or grow it commercially. And smoking it -- is that a permanent law now?

In absolute terms, no---but compared to US policy, they're Einsteins in toques.
