"[Montesquieu wrote in his Spirit of Laws, X,c.2:] 'The right of natural defense carries along with it sometimes the necessity of attacking; as, for instance, when one nation sees that a continuance of peace will enable another to destroy her, and that to attack that nation instantly is the only way to prevent her own destruction." --Thomas Jefferson: copied into his Commonplace Book.

Only seven? This is an outrage. At least 12 have it coming.

Sounds like an acceptable starting place.

Instead, Clark points the finger at what he calls the real sources of terrorists - US allies in the region like Egypt, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia. Well, he got that right. I swear if we get some gun hating perfumed socialist Klintonoid prince for president because of the current administrations unwillingness to name our attackers I'm going to start digging trenches around my home.

Clark's candidacy is now in serious trouble.

Re Poster Boy: Just in time for the Iraq governing council to ban AlJazeera. If it weren't for bad luck, he'd have no luck at all.

His job was only to take the wind out of Dean's sails. Mission accomplished already.
The Clintons cannot have any single Democrat rise to national prominence before Hillary! gets her shot.

Instead, Clark points the finger at what he calls the real sources of terrorists - US allies in the region like Egypt, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia. Clark blames Egypts repressive policies, Pakistans corruption and poverty, as well as Saudi Arabias radical ideology and direct funding for creating a pool of angry young men who became terrorists.Well I'll have to agree with him on this point at least.

the US always plays around with war plans for attacking countries...not a big deal
To: Mark Felton
,,, I think this is downright wrong! Libya and Somalia should be first on the list.
