I think something must be wrong with Mr. Rushmore and me.
We have never watched "The Sopranos", "Sex in the City", "Friends", or "Everybody Loves Raymond". Our TV is on almost 24/7. We use it as a nightlight. But it is usually tuned to Fox News, The History Channel, Discovery, or A&E. Someimes "Animal Planet" or Food TV. I wonder if we are hopelessly "out of it" or merely misinformed. The network shows just can't compete with the wild turkeys, deer and coyotes that roam our "back 40". I guess we are getting old when we prefer to watch a new spotted fawn than Madonna sucking tongue with Brittany. I think I kind of like us this way.

I would rather watch a program about reptiles (particularly venomous snakes) in particular or predators (animals that is) in general than ANY of those network or HBO/SHOWTIME channels. Actually, I never watch them, and have been boycotting those shows, and hollywood for years now.

Everybody Loves Raymond is pretty funny sometimes, and basically a pretty clean, wholesome show.
I watched one Friends and vowed never again to watch such a mindless, witless show with such an appalling, dull-witted cast and writing.
Sex in the City...well, by its very title it told me it would be the kind of tasteless, vulgar dreck that passes for comedy in Post-Christian America.
Soprano's has actually had a few good scenes, but a very close friend is a Sicilian from Bensonhurst, so I almost enjoy watching it for its Paisano/Cugino ambience as anything else.
