Three Cheers to tallhappy !!! Hip Hip Hooray!!!

They 'state flatly' that they don't see any evidence of Saddam playing a role in 9/11. actually, to put even a finer point on it, they state that there have no evidence that Saddam ordered or controlled Al Qaeada's attack on 9/11. They always state that there is plenty of evidence that Saddam and Al Qaeda were cooperating and "in cahoots," so to speak, at many levels. The NYT and WP and LAT conveniently ignore those points, certainly in their headlines.

Great find! Thank you. We knew the media were liars - we just keep getting more and more proof every day.
Some weeks ago on FR there was an article that the New York Times, Newsweek, Time and a handful of other major publications wrote stories linking AQ and Iraq. The stories WERE ALL written in 1997 and 1998 - right around the time Clinton signed the Iraqi Liberation Act.

Active links to the State Department press release and the indictment in pdf format are in 30 and 32.
The articles from NY Times and Facts on File do not have active links I am aware of.
Both articles, though, are based on the indictment so the active link to the State Department web site and to the indictment pdf at FAS should serve your purpose.

Thank you. It is nice to be appreciated and see others appreciate this.
This media and Democrat demagogues make it seem like we live in the Twilight zone.

The US Federal Government unequivocably outlined cooperation between Saddam/Iraq and bin Laden/al Qaeda in 1998. You apparently didnt even bother to read you own posting. There is absolutely nothing in the 2 articles you posted about the relationship between OBL and Iraq except for one reference to an alleged deal . This is laughable.

When were the CIA pix of Salman Pak taken that show the airliner fuselage parked there being used to train terrorists in the task of taking over an airliner with only knives? Weren't those taken during sinkEmperor's rule?

except for one reference to an alleged deal . They made a deal to work together - to make weapons to use against the U.S.
Hey, It's stated as a fact. I'm sure they have much, much more to be able to use it. That's good enough for me!!!!
Saddam had them before, without reliable inspections, he could very well use them again.

I've about convinced myself that every word out of the media until after the election will be designed to elect a dem for president..In 2000, it seemed like only every OTHER word out of the media was designed to elect Gore. This time around even though it's still early, it seems like all of their words are out to get the incumbant R.
Looks to me like the shrike is running. These bouts of propaganda have her curved bill pecks all over it.

They made a deal to work together - to make weapons to use against the U.S. - Hey, It's stated as a fact.Thats pure speculation, not fact. It even says alleged surely you knew what alleged means?
I'm sure they have much, much more to be able to use it
Then why dont they release it? National security?? Ha! You are clutching at straws to avoid facing the truth about the complete lack of evidence that Iraq posed a significant threat to the US.

Despite his alliance with Japan, Hitler knew nothing about the Japanese plans to attack Pearl Harbour. That doesn't mean he was not happy about rhe result.

Thats pure speculation, not fact. It even says alleged surely you knew what alleged means?"In addition, al Qaeda reached an understanding with the Government of Iraq that al Qaeda would not work against that government and that on particular projects, specifically including weapons development, al Qaeda would work cooperatively with the Government of Iraq," the indictment said.
(Stated as fact)
Then why dont they release it? National security?? Ha! You are clutching at straws to avoid facing the truth about the complete lack of evidence that Iraq posed a significant threat to the US.
United States Information Agency, 04 November 1998 . It has been published.
Are you some kind of nutter? Have you been following this at all?
It sounds to me as if you're extremely uninformed.
