The fondue pot came in very handy for boiling water,

LOL!!!!

I grabbed my fondue pot from our storage unit on Tuesday, just in case. I hadn't thought about using it for boiling water, I was thinking dinner!!!

fortunately I didn't need it!!!

I had never taken it out of the box before - it was a Christmas gift a few years ago. I bought one of those little folding sterno stoves a while back, but we buried it when moving everything into the garage for Isabel - all I could reach was the sterno itself. The fondue pot was in the appliance graveyard, with the bread machine and crepe pan, right by the door. Steve cooked eggs & toast on the barbecue grill.

While I remember, where on the ES are you? I used to live in Mears.
