Well we made it home and the power is ON!!!!! They expect the power at the office sometime Monday or Tuesday! Arggghh.. Anyhow, I feel a little better now. I went to make my first cup of coffee for the day, and the coffee maker did something wierd and exploded coffee grounds and water all over the place.

The Sony stuff is all safe. In fact, my laptop is what kept me somewhat connected all day. I am a slave to technology. It's really bad.

For an hour tonight I had phone - but no laptop - hubby's working tonight and took it with him!!! Who whudda thunk I'd have to worry about power tonight?????

My heart goes out to all those still without.

One of the local power companies handed out 32,000 tons of dry ice today, on the DelMarVA peninsula alone. By the 6pm news had restored power to 70,000 of the 110,000 customers who had lost power in lower Delaware and the Eastern Shore. I think I'll stop bashing them as I have been for 15 years. They are the power company that I use now (for the first time in 15 years)
