From our local news site:

Problems still persisted late Friday afternoon in the NBC 10 viewing area and across the entire state of Pennsylvania as many households and businesses were in the dark.

Power crews were working around the clock to restore power.

PECO said late Friday afternoon that 305,000 customers are still without power. Most of them are in Chester and Delaware counties. More than 140,000 people were out of power in Chester County alone. Repair crews will be working through the weekend.

Same as I was hearing down here before the cable went out. The only Virginia news channel I can get is - you got it NBC10 (WAVY) But at one point, they were also talking about the power problems the station was having. They are on the other side of the Bay, so have no information about my area (or rarely do) which is understandable.

But, the News Director of the "local" station I watch is going to get a VERY stern letter from me about their lack of coverage in Accomac County. They claim to be "DelMarVA's news leader" and had little or no information on their noon or 6pm newscasts.

They spent more time with Network feed from NC than they did about Accomac county, just over the state line. And on DelMarVA.

And people wonder why I got out of broadcasting?????

Remember those repair crews in your prayers. They are leaving their families at home, not knowing when they will return. They work hard in dangerous conditions.
