Your source is a full-on Arabist, Saudi bankrolled enterprise, filled with anti-Israel swill.

They have captured the lead in so many areas of the universe, including the US political machine.

Blah blah blah. I'm surprised you didn't drag out Buchanan's "Congress is Israel-occupied territory" line. :)

You forgot another top ranking for Israel.

Largest number of nuclear weapons per capita.

I'm with you carlo3b.

It is pure insanity for the U.S. taxpayer to provide $85 billion dollars a year to a country that (as veronica so completely demonstrated) is the most dynamic economic power house in the world.

But wait just a minute. Look at these two facts.

veronica: "Israel's $100 billion economy ...."

carlo3b: "Grand Total (US Financial Aid to Israel) $84,854,827,200..."

So. Does this mean that if the US stopped funding Israel, that Israel impressive economy would drop down to $15 billion??? ($100 billion - $85 billion)

Maybe Israel isn't really that efficient. Maybe the US is just that gullible.

While it's true that Israel has received more aid than any other nation, some of your numbers are DEFINITELY exaggerated. Like Israel having recieved 70% of US Foreign aid, for example. That is bogus. You are probably counting loan guarantees and military aid to Israel but NOT counting the loan guarantees and military aid to other nations. The $87billion for Iraq will make them (in one year!) close to the 50-year total for Israel.

I'm not sure I agree with all the numbers. However, assuming that they are correct, please note that this is over 55 years. That is 424.55/year per capita.

I oppose all non military aid to Israel and want military aid scaled back oiver a period of years.
