Lieutenant/US Naval Reserve,Daniel Vernor Borah, Jr. "Dan" , was the pilot of an A7 Corsair which was hit by AAA fire. He was seen to eject from his crippled aircraft and land un-injured on the ground. Using his survival radio, he established contact with his wingman. In his last voice transmission he stated, "Gomer all around." US Intelligence was able to confirm that LT. Borah was captured and his status was changed to Prisoner of War. Problem is, he never came home.
Dan is one of many, TOO many. My Uncles came back from their serving in Wars. Pray we never leave another behind and bring those back NOW, how can we let them be MIA's and POW's is UNAmerican and WRONG!
