I don't think either Arnold (or his supporter group) OR McClintock (or his) is short-sighted or lacks vision. They have very different personalities and are going after different goals in different ways. I think it's as silly to write off McClintock for (supposedly) "not accomplishing anything" as it is to write off Arnold as an airhead bodybuilder.

A lack of vision can be corrected with time and experience. A 20-year record of fast talking and zero-leadership ability cannot. Talk about short-sightedness. Just because someone (especially a career politician) says what you want to hear doesn't mean they can or will do what you want them to do.
