Mainstream reporters don't deaden their conscience just to maintain access with Saddam's government. Ms. Winkler may have missed the point of the Burns article. These reporters deadens their conscience to maintain a hostility to the U. S. and to the freedoms we enjoy in this country.

You have to have a conscience first. I see no evidence of this.
