The Navy has requested that families leave the area. It's kind of funny because I didn't realize it until I went on base and I was asked if I was planning on evacuating. Nope! Although, The Sailor wants to make my dad happy and if it gathers strength tomorrow then we'll be headed to Ohio. Our neighbor volunteered to watch Kipper, but the boys went ballistic at that thought. So? We'll have to take the Wonderdog! LOL!

I've gotta run and get stuff done for the upcoming stuff on the threads this week. So?? I'll try to call. If I don't make it back on, please know that I'm praying for all our troops for their safe journey home. (Although, I hope you don't plan on coming home during the Hurricane. Then I pray that God will give you the patience until the storm passes!) If we lose power, I will contact Ma and let her know how everyone is. Honestly! We'll all be okay. Just taking precautions. (I should be back on later!! I will be ready to play!!)

*HUGS* to everyone!

Hurricanes suck, but so does France. Ain't life grand? Hehe!

When I still used to live in the Philippines, I experienced a lot of storms - we call them typhoons. Believe it or not, it never stopped us from going out. I remember having to drive from school and the normal 45 min drive home turned to about 3 - 4 hours. That was also driving through the flooded streets with the water threatening to enter the car. Another time, it was signal #3, schools and offices were closed and what did we do? We drove around the city looking for a place where we could hang out and drink some margaritas! And we did find one bar/restaurant that was opened. LOL! It was always an adventure but the traffic was such a pain.
